The egg depicts four scenes of miracles done by Christ: the turning of water into wine at the wedding in Canaa, the raising of Lazarus, the restoration of vision to the two blind beggars outside of Jericho, and Christ walking on water (respectively.)

Around the egg (below the scenes) is an inscription in Serbian: Jehovah thy God is in the midst of thee, a mighty one who will save you (Zeph. 3:17). There are four cherubs carved around the stand, and an inscription in Serbian: My voice goes to God and He will hear me.
